The MOP was established between the trio after an NZQA consistency review of the New Zealand Diploma in Whānau Ora with Wai Tech and Maanaki Ora. The review highlighted the need for provider collaboration to support peer moderation and share best practices. WERA was included as they deliver a similar qualification. This year Wai Tech celebrate ten years of delivering the Diploma in Whānau Ora to kaimahi throughout Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency network.
This agreement is a commitment between the three providers to meet quarterly to share knowledge, tautoko one another plus undertake scheduled moderation peer reviews for the betterment of the delivery of the programmes. It will be reviewed annually with the next hui on November 7, 2022.
