One of our Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency Directors, Takutai Tash Kemp, is now the MP for Tāmaki Makaurau for Te Pāti Māori.

This seat has been in Labour's hands since 2014 and this year the special votes pushed Takutai ahead of its incumbent by four votes. A recount is expected in the coming days and in the meantime Takutai is heading to parliament to join the other five Te Pāti Māori MP's who now hold six of the seven Māori electorates.
