The Prime Minister has extended an invitation to meet the rangatira who have filed a claim in the Waitangi Tribunal on behalf of Whānau Ora.

They wish to advise:

"It was regretful that we as Māori leaders had to make public our concerns over the destruction of Whānau Ora as well as holding the Prime Minister to account. However we will take the meeting with the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and the Labour Māori Caucus with open minds to try to resolve differences and look for solutions." ~ Dame Tariana Turia, Dame Naida Glavish, Dame Iritana Tawhiwhirangi, Lady Tureiti Moxon and Merepeka Raukawa-Tait.
