Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency (WOCA) has postponed its Data4Impact conference until further notice.

The two-day event – which will showcase insights from academia, the public sector and other like-minded organisations that are using data strategy for social impact – was due to be held in Auckland on the 11th and 12th May.

“As a precautionary measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of all participants, kaimahi and the whānau we support, the decision has been taken to put the conference on hold,” said Awerangi Tamihere, COO of WOCA.

“It’s disappointing to have to postpone but the decision was not taken lightly, and the health and wellbeing of event participants will always be our paramount concern,” Ms Tamihere added.

WOCA will continue to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and the latest guidance, and will provide an update on the conference in due course.
